HOW OFTEN IS FOTOQRAFIKA MAGAZINE PUBLISHED?
FOTOQRAFIKA magazine is published quarterly (4 issues per year), at the beginning of March, June, September and December.
WHAT SIZE SHOULD THE PHOTOS BE THAT I SUBMIT TO FOTOQRAFIKA MAGAZINE?
The size of the photos should be at least 1500 pixels on the longer side. The photos should not have any frames, borders, text or watermarks. Each submitted photo should be smaller than 1 MB. Photos that do not comply with the above specifications will not be published, and we will not contact photographers to inform them of photos that do not comply.
WHY DIDN’T YOU PUBLISH MY PHOTO, AND WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THAT IT WON’T BE PUBLISHED?
FOTOQRAFIKA magazine’s editorial team is not obliged to reply or justify its decision to publish or not publish any photo or project. Likewise, for the photos that the editorial team intends to publish, the photographer will not be notified with a confirmation, except for unique situations when contact is necessary. The reason for such a policy is the lack of time and manpower to process large volumes of e-mail.
IF YOU LIKE MY PHOTO, WHEN CAN I EXPECT IT TO BE PUBLISHED?
Due to translation, proofreading, and editing tasks, the editorial team tries to get as much of the material as possible well in advance. Therefore, there is no fixed time limit within which a certain photo will be published. For example, a particular photo might be a better thematic fit in a future issue.
WHO WILL OWN THE COPYRIGHT TO MY PHOTO?
You, the artist, will retain all rights to your image. By submitting your work to FOTOQRAFIKA, you grant us the ability to show it on the web, print it in our publications, and/or use it for promotional material.
